EU首脳らは本日、臨時の会議を開き、欧州委員会の委員長後任を中心に協議する見込みです。

Magyar Suzukiの労組が結成された/されていないを巡る問題では、国内最大の労組連合MaSzSzは本日、同社が労組連合Vasas幹部の訪問を禁じるのは看過できないとする抗議文書を発表。事態の妥結のため、政府、またILOに介入を要請するとしました。

Magyar Suzukiでは過去にも社内労組結成の動きがありましたが、立ち消えに。しかし労働者側は、今度は、このままでは引き下がらないと意を決している模様です。

ドナウ川、抗生剤汚染では欧州ワースト１

英ヨーク大学の研究チームが世界の河川で行った抗生剤汚染の調査で、欧州ではドナウ川が最も汚染されていることが明らかになりました。

調査の対象となったのは世界72か国の河川。711か所でサンプルが取られ、6５％から感染症治療などに使われる抗生剤が検出されました。河川に近い場所にある排水処理場が不適切で、流れ込んでいることが主要原因。

抗生剤汚染が特に危険な水準だったのは、アジアやアフリカの国々でした。

一方、欧州で最も汚染度が高かったのは、ドナウ川。オーストリアでのサンプルからは、クラリスロマイシン (肺炎治療などに使うマクロライド系抗生物質)を含む、7つの抗生剤が検出されました。

これについて、WWFハンガリー事務所の専門家ヴェル―・ジュルジュ氏は、国営テレビM1やコシュットラジオで、現在のドナウ川の水質は、人体に危険を及ぼすような状態ではなく、遊泳も問題ないという見解を示しました。同氏は、オーストリアで検出された抗生剤は非常に低い値、としました。

同時に、抗生剤が河川に含まれると、薬剤耐性菌が培養されてしまう問題があり、長期的にこうした菌が広がると、様々な問題を引き起こす可能性はあるとしました。
