政府は、年金受給者に電気ガス料金の支払い用として、合計9,000Ftの金券配布を決定。政府は、「好調な経済の恩恵を、高齢者とシェアするため」であり、10月の地方選挙とは関係ないと説明。

現政権は、2018年4月の総選挙前にも、同じ理由で、全世帯でガス代の請求書を1.2万フォリント減額、また年金受給者には1万フォリントのエルジェーベト券（金券）を配布ししています。
トルコのエルドアン大統領が11月7日にハンガリーを訪問する見込み。政権寄り日刊紙が報道。

検察は、Microsoft贈収賄疑惑での捜査を開始。　まずはエゲル市のエステルハーズィ・カーロィ大学に対して、過去のMicrosoftソフトウェア調達に関する契約書を提出するよう要請
このスキャンダルでは、Microsoft本社とハンガリー子会社は贈収賄を認め、司法省と証券取引委員会（SEC）に制裁金を支払うことで合意済み。

国際柔道連盟本部、スイスからブダペストへ
国際柔道連盟（IJF）は、本部をスイス・ローザンヌからブダペスト市に移転します。IJFが22日、東京都内で総会を開き、決定しました。
また、2022年の世界選手権をブダペストで行うことも決定。

国内メディアによると、政府は今後、国際大会をホストするだけではなく、こうした国際スポーツ連盟の本部誘致も積極的に行います。国会は7月、簡素化された優遇制度EKHOの対象に外国スポーツ団体の職員も含める政府案を成立させており、IJFはこれを利用する第1号になります。

第28回ワインフェスティバルがブダペスト市王宮地区で9月5日～8日にかけて開催されます。
