ハンガリーはトルコから装甲車を購入する見込み。EU加盟国としては、またNATO加盟国としても（トルコを除く）、ハンガリーが初めて採用します。

10月の地方首長・議会選挙において、ブダペストで日系ハンガリー人が2人出馬しており、移民政策に関する発言が国内メディアで話題になっています。

まずはショング・シモン氏（Song Simon＊、与党Fidesz、母はハンガリー人、父は日本人）が、ヨーロッパには異なる文化の移民を入れるべきではないと反移民色を鮮明に。ショング氏は、ブダペスト市19区議会議員に立候補しています。

これに対して、ミヤザキ・ジュン氏（Miyazaki Jun、野党民主連合DK、同様に母はハンガリー人、父は日本人）は痛烈に揶揄しました。

ショング氏について、政党が掲げる政策方針のために、自らの出自とアイデンティティーを犠牲にするのがどんなことかを示しているとし、半分日本人であるにもかかわらず、欧州に異なる文化の者を入れてはいけないと言っているとコメント。

そして、「それよりも、日本の血が入ったハンガリー人であることを誇りにすべき。そして、ハンガリーもそのことを誇りに思えるようにすべての策を尽くすべきだ」としました。
