欧州議会最大会派「欧州人民党グループ（EPP）」は8日、ヘルシンキでの会合で、EU基本理念尊重の宣言を採択。Fideszによると、同党の提案を反映する形で「リベラル民主主義」標榜から「キリスト教民主主義」に修正。

Fidesz議員もこれを支持したことにより、同党がEPPから排除される動きは実質的に後退。一方で、同じEPPのトゥスク欧州大統領は、「リベラル民主主義を変えたいものは、キリスト教民主主義者ではない」と、間接的にFideszを激しく非難。

政党支持率調査では、Fideszが再び上昇。5月から9月にかけて低下した分を回復しただけでなく、より大きく支持を伸ばしたことに。

経済では、消費者物価指数（10月）が前年比3.8％と加速。5か月連続で3％以上。6年ぶりの高い水準が続いています。
鉱工業生産は（9月）は、前年比-0.6%（未調整値）、＋2.2％（営業日調整値）と振るわず。
