オルバーン首相は14日、ベルギーの政党らに対して、「役に立つ馬鹿」発言での謝罪書簡を送付。同時に、欧州議会会派「欧州人民党グループ（EPP）」からのFidesz排除提案を再考するよう要請しました。

しかしこれを受領したCD&Vは、議論の本質は個人的な謝罪をするかどうかではなく、オルバーン氏が率いるFideszが欧州の価値を守るかどうかと一蹴。そこの部分では全く変化が見られないため、排除提案は取り下げないと即コメント。

ウェーバー氏（欧州議会会派EPPの欧州委員長候補）は、CEU大学にバイエルン州が資金的援助をすると述べていましたが、昨日、その内容がもう少し明らかに。　支援はバイエルン州とBMWが実施。ミュンヘン工科大学とCEU、さらにもう一つの米大学（名前は明らかにされていない）の提携を進めます。それにより、CEUの米国教育課程が何らかの形でブダペスト市に残れるようにするのが狙い。

本日は約7500人の公務員が1日ストライキを決行。MKKSZが組織しているもので、長らく実質的賃上げがされていない状況、3月1日に施行された法改正により労働負担が増加することなどへ抗議を表明。

秋の地方選挙に向け、野党陣営では右と左の協力がさらに前進。
急進的右派Jobbikとグリーン系「政治の新しい形（LMP）」は本日、共同記者会見を開催し、ブダペスト市長選、また全23区で緊密な協力をする旨発表。

韓国系タイヤHankookでは、労組側はストには労働者70％が参加していると発表。経営陣の昨日の発表と真逆の主張をしました。

また、交渉が妥結しないため、韓国親会社に直談判を検討しているとのこと。

☆政府の家族政策ポスターで掲載されている幸せそうなカップルが、ネットで有名になっていた“distracted boyfriend”のカップルと同じだったことが判明。これは、カップルが歩いているとき、男性の方が通りすがりの女性に目を奪われるというもの。これにより、政府広報を依頼された制作会社が、単にShutterstockの画像を使っていたことが明らかに。

国内の独立系メディアは昨日、早速これを揶揄する記事を掲載。その後、BBC、Washington Post、The Guardian、Politico.euなども後追い報道しました。
